Why to get a "Turkish Passport"

In recent years, the Turkey Citizenship through property ownership scheme has garnered significant attention. Buyers investing a minimum of $400,000 USD in Turkish real estate can embark on the journey to Turkish citizenship. While ownership entails holding the property for three years, the additional perk is that the spouse and children under 18 years old of the property owner are also eligible to obtain a Turkish passport.

As per the Henley Passport Index, Turkish citizens currently enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 110 countries and territories, securing the 57th position globally for travel freedom. Specifically, Turkish passport holders can enter 72 countries without a visa. Additionally, Turkey stands as a candidate for accession to the European Union, and if this materializes, the country's passport ranking is expected to further improve.

The General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs is responsible for issuing passports in Turkey, with a validity period of ten years. The current cost, inclusive of the compulsory booklet fee, is 1265.40 TL. Beyond the advantage of global mobility, holding a Turkish passport grants individuals full access to government programs, permission to work, eligibility for retirement programs, and the ability to purchase property without the need for a military check.

Although the citizenship by investment program does not require that you have to reside in your Turkey Properties, with its hospitable culture and first-rate lifestyle it is easy to enjoy living in Turkey.
